Promote Marlborough as an attractive place for relocation because of the large lots and vacant land available for growing. Specific large sites with potential include 81st & Troost, 81st & Indiana, 2900 E. 78th and others. The assessment of Land Bank lots conducted by Get Growing KC also provides a thorough review of sites with various potential for production. Work with city to get brownfield assessments, site development resources, and urban agriculture zones put in place. Work with land bank and realtors to develop a regularly updated list of homes/ sites that have land, basic assessments for various types of production, and then actively promote those sites through the Marlborough Facebook page, the Marlborough Community Coalition newsletter, and local, regional, and national farming networks.
